If ticket supply is less than ticket demand, Georgia Tech Student Ticketing includes the following phases:
Request phase: In this phase, students request a student ticket for an event. Once the student has requested a ticket, he/she will be entered into a lottery.
Claim phase: In this phase, students that have been awarded a student ticket through the lottery can claim the ticket. Also, they can buy guest tickets for the event if they are available. Note that there can be more than one Claim phase.
If ticket supply is greater than ticket demand, Georgia Tech Student Ticketing includes only the On-Demand phase. During this phase, students can claim a student ticket (just as they can in the Claim phase). Also, if available to them, they can buy guest tickets.
