Donating Tickets

If you cannot use a ticket for an event and the event sponsor has specified a non-profit organization, you may donate it to a non-profit organization using TicketReturn.com Box Office. Your donations are tax deductible. TicketReturn.com Box Office sends the donation information to the non-profit organization and they will, in turn, send you an official record of donation for your taxes.

NOTE: You cannot donate a ticket that has a status of "Card Pending" or "Balance Due."

1. Log in to TicketReturn.

2. Click Your Tickets to open the Your Tickets page. Then, click Donate Tickets.
   
   

3. Set Ticket Management Options to Donate selected tickets. Check the tickets you want to donate and click Select Tickets & Continue.
   
   

4. The next page appears. Set Charity to the organization to which you want to donate tickets and click Continue.
   
   If the message "No Charities found for event" appears, the event has not enabled donations and you will not be able to donate the tickets.
   
   

5. The next page appears. Ensure that your donation information is correct and click Donate Tickets.
   
   

6. The next page verifies that the ticket donation is complete. The new tickets are added to the account of the non-profit organization. If you have included your email address in your account profile, you will receive an email confirmation for the transaction.
